The International College for Palestine Project
The International College for Palestine is a not-for-profit non-political project born from the somber realization that Gaza’s educational infrastructure has been devastated, while in-person education in the West Bank faces increasing challenges. These developments created an urgent need for academic collaboration between Palestinian universities and the international academic community. Universities in Palestine are seeking collaboration from academics worldwide. [1]
Our Mission
Our mission is to support the recovery and continued growth of higher education in Palestine through a dedicated faculty volunteering program, bridging international expertise with local needs. We aim to offer more than just ad-hoc temporary aid during the recovery phase by building a reliable infrastructure that allows Palestinian universities and students to tap into the expertise of faculty volunteers from top universities abroad through various initiatives. This includes facilitating collaboration with local universities as well as offering lectures and seminars in cutting-edge fields to complement current curricula at local universities.
Volunteer Opportunities
We are seeking professors and postgraduates to volunteer their time contributing to our courses. This may include delivering lectures, designing course materials, advising students, or leading seminars. By expressing your interest through the Volunteer Form, you are not committing to a volunteer position. You also have the option to opt out of our volunteer list at any time by contacting us directly. Additionally, we are looking for students to assist with technology, logistics, and outreach efforts. If you’re passionate about making a difference, please visit our Volunteer Page and complete the short form to get involved.
We Respect Your Privacy
While our mission is humanitarian and not political, we understand that some prefer not to have their support for our initiative publicly acknowledged. We prioritize your privacy and handle your personal information with the highest level of care. Your name and email address will not be shared with anyone outside of ICP without your explicit consent. [2]
