About the ICP Project
The International College for Palestine (ICP-P) is a project born from the somber realization that Gaza’s educational system has been reduced to rubble while, at the same time, in-person education in the West Bank is becoming increasingly difficult. Palestine's high literacy rate is a testament to its people's resilience and commitment to education.
Long Term Vision and Mission
Our long-term vision is to establish an online college that provides outstanding education comparable with top universities in the U.S., entirely free and accessible to Palestinians. We envision a college that welcomes students from around the world. We will emphasize education that fosters the creation of startups, particularly in the online services industry, and to offer support for these ventures.
Launching Our Pilot Phase
The ICP project will begin with a focused approach, aiming to launch the pilot phase in Fall 2025. During this phase, we plan to offer master's level coursework in economics, business, and data science.
Faculty Expressions of Interest
We invite faculty members interested in contributing to this initiative by offering their time to teach (collaborative course-sharing among professors is possible). Submitting an expression of interest does not constitute a commitment. We understand commitments depend on solid infrastructure. However, to develop that infrastructure and establish key partnerships, we need a strong base of expressed interest.
Volunteer Opportunities for Students, Organizers, and Activists
We are grateful for the enthusiastic response from students and activists who have volunteered. We are still seeking additional support to help develop our technical infrastructure, foster partnerships, and assist with organization and fundraising efforts. Numerous opportunities are available, and we look forward to hearing from you.
Prospective Students
If you are interested in enrolling in the pilot phase, please contact us. The coursework will be delivered in English. While our primary audience is students in Palestine, international students are welcome and will add valuable diversity to our program.
Confidentiality Notice
We are committed to safeguarding the confidentiality of all communications, including the identities of our volunteers. At this time, there is no need to publicize the names of our volunteer group. Should the need arise, we will seek your explicit consent beforehand. However, we disclaim any liability for disclosures caused by transmission errors or unauthorized actions by third parties.
